What We Have So Far

So far, the committee has decided to have the following at Quadfest this year:

Pie Eating Contest?

The Student Alumni Society (SAS) would like to hold their annual pie eating contest during quadfest again this year. Problems at last year's pie eating contest left the committee looking for a good reason as to why we should have it again this year. After some discussion, the possibility of holding the contest on the grass island next to Morgan Hall (somewhere off the quad) was brought up. The committee wishes to prevent a pie-throwing-frenzy (PTF) at this year's quadfest. The PTF last year made a mess of the quad and made clean-up virtually impossible. The committee generally agreed that the pie eating contest should be at quadfest, however they stressed that a clean-up crew from SAS is a must if they want this event to happen.

IndieFest

Nate, another tri-chair-type-person (ATCTP) said he was in the process of collecting demo tapes for Indiefest (which will take place during Quadfest this year). An idea was brought to the floor to hold a "Gong Show" type event for a couple hours if/while Indiefest took a break. Nate's gonna come up with 2 schedules, one to include the Gong Show and one not to.

What Else?

Is the pshycic too expensive? We need more night stuff! No meeting next week! Get groups and/or the bookstore to donate stuff for the scavenger hunt.
