Minutes from the 02/23/98 meeting

The meeting was called to order at 6:30pm.

Random Ideas


We're opening this up to the entire campus. Anyone may submit ideas for a Mardi Gras shirt design, logo, and/or slogan. So, if you have any ideas for any of the above, please submit them to: Craig Hansen, WPI Box 2090 or email pjhansen@wpi.edu.


The meeting was adjourned at 6:25pm. The sub-chairs met with the chairs to discuss some things...

Post-Meeting Stuff

  • Leanne Stackpole and Renee Charpentier are the Publicity Sub-chairs.
  • Joshua Cloutier is the event Sub-chair.
  • Publicity for Quadfest will begin in D-term, beginning with publicizing our meetings. About two weeks into D-term, we will start to publicize specific events for Quadfest. Publicity materials will be provided by the Social Committee.
  • We will be sending invitations to the Trustees, Cabinet, Faculty, Administration, and Staff members so they can take part in Quadfest.
  • We also need to call about a tent rental, DAKA, Campus Police, and Plant Services.
  • In an effort to get Lens and Lights more actively involved in Quadfest (rather than just provide equipment), we were thinking of asking them to make popcorn during the day.
