Minutes from the 01/19/99 meeting

Members Present:

barlow, poolboy, debra, Jony Laplante, Tanya Theriault, Carl Chesko, Kevin Dickert, John Brosnan, Matt Sartin, illy bonn.

So we want to have a Quadfest... What do we want there?

  • an elephant
  • Orange Crush
  • laser tag
  • bungee jumping
  • climbing wall
  • go-karts
  • archery/shooting range
  • mechanical bull
  • pool tables, arcade games, etc. (jony liked 'em)
  • VR machine
  • free fall simulator

    What we have as of right this minute...

  • WWPI playing music on the quad
  • Alpha Phi Omega doing a UMOC runway show

    We have a few theme ideas:

  • Seven Deady Sins
  • Lucky Sevens
  • Seven Wonders of the World
  • 7th Heaven
  • 7 letters - Quadfes
  • Sesame Street - sponsored by the letter 'Q' and the number '7'

    And we set a few deadlines.

  • February 2 - Deadline for theme ideas
  • March 30 - Deadline for organizations wanting to participate
  • March 6 - Deadline for major quadfest activities
